• HATUPATU...new trail off Tuhoto Ariki at the top of the forest, now open. Great work by a bunch of spade and rake-wielding volunteers over the summer!
• DUCK POND REVIVED...PHOTOS...The pond on Larch Road has been given a massive spruce up by Red and the Dept of Corrections work crews...
• DRAGON'S TAIL... runs from Red Tank Road, with the entrance on the left hand side not far down from Bunny Jugs and exits back on to Red Tank just up from the Tank.
TURKISH DELIGHT...from just past the exit of Lion Trail to Nursery Road in the stand of forest between Tokorangi Pa and Katore Roads...

The Rotorua trails are some of the best in the world...
A lot of people have contributed to the development of the network over the last 20 years. Most of our trails were built and are maintained by volunteers.
Work goes on. If you've got a bit of time, get involved with maintaining your trails, where ever you are...
Now, the International Mountain Bike Association's legendary guide is on video...
It's from the USA and we don't have bears but the general messages still apply and it makes interesting viewing...
You can also buy the IMBA's classic Trail Solutions guide book from the IMBA web site... Highly recommended.
